How did you become an entrepreneur? When did you get started?

I have a passion for many different industries and I want to make an impact in all of them. I have been an entrepreneur since I was a young child. I would buy thrift store items and resell them at my yard sale each week ... I started that at the age of 9.

Entrepreneurship is in your family. How do you think has that affected your own ambitions to become an entrepreneur?

Being raised in an Entrepreneur household has had a tremendous impact on my life, my passions and my ambition to succeed. My father has been a successful entrepreneur for over 20 years and his struggles and successes has given the desire and love to build from the ground up and watch the fruits of my labor!!

What is your favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur?

My favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur is watching the fruits of my labor grow, grow and grow some more!

What sacrifices have you had to make to be a successful entrepreneur?

I have had to sacrifice many things but honestly I mostly sacrifice sleep.

What do you think is the major difference between entrepreneurs and those who work for someone else?

Working for yourself gives you the freedom to do as you please and gives you the motivation to work harder and harder because you are working for yourself!!!

What has been one of your failures, and what have you learned from it?

One of my favorite quotes have taught me that on the other side of failure lies success. So, I have learned that you can succeed without failing!!!!

How important have “good people” (partners and employees) been to the success of the company?

Having “Good People” is vital to you as an entrepreneur and your organization ... I can’t tell you what I would do without my partners. They are best in their area as I am in mine and without them it would take me a lot longer to achieve my goals and it wouldn’t be as fun either.

Tony Blair said that "Sometimes it is better to lose and do the right thing than to win and do the wrong thing." What are your thoughts on that quote?

I believe this quote to be very true ... I am a woman who believes that integrity and honesty stands before power and wealth!

Sam Walton once said that "Outstanding leaders go out of their way to boost the self-esteem of their personnel. If people believe in themselves, it's amazing what they can accomplish." What are your thoughts on that quote?

I love this quote because most leaders are leaders because they already believe in themselves and their abilities. My experience has been that leaders only become leaders when they can build other leaders.

Helen Keller once said “Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness. It is not attained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose.”

I would have to agree because fidelity is truly the firm and steadfast devotion that we give to purposes higher than ourselves and Fidelity is an attribute that all individuals should strive to attain vs. seeking happiness!

Rudy Giuliani once said “There are many qualities that make a great leader. But having strong beliefs, being able to stick with them through popular and unpopular times, is the most important characteristic of a great leader.”

You must have strong beliefs in who you are and what you believe in order for others to be confident in following you as a leader. No one truly wants to follow an unsure individual.

If you could do it all over again. What would you have done differently?

Nothing because everything happens for a reason!

What advice would you give to college students who want to be entrepreneurs?

Belief in yourself and your abilities to do anything and know that you have the will power to face whatever comes along the way “You define who you are not the World”

If you were to start another business, what might it be?

“I am entrepreneur :-) ... Join my team and I might tell you”
